Marblecrete is a beautiful finish that was popular a hundred years ago. It is a unique combination of chipped marble, usually in several different colors. Marblecrete mixes were created onsite by artisan plasters to achieve a desired color and style. Even the color of the stucco base was tinted on site.
Not many companies nowadays are able to repair Marblecrete. It was mixed on site, so it is very hard to match the color, moreover many of the marble materials that were available 100 years ago are long-gone now.
But it can be done.
The material is extremely durable and is able to withstand decades of use. In fact, in the last house we repaired, the original owners still living in the house remember that many years ago as kids they used to hit their baseball against the house wall, hit it with sticks or chip out little pretty rocks out of it for their collection. The house stood and kept its beauty.
A year ago, through a roof leak one of the walls started to fail. We were called to repair it. We were able to match the unique finish in color and texture.
